The location of fishfarms needs to be determined with reference to prevailing winds and currents to ensure that they do not pose a threat to the cleanliness of our shoreline. For starters they must be relocated offshore at distances that render them invisible from land and out of the busy thoroughfare of boats during the summer months. Owners of fishfarms will then be given designated areas within which to instal their farms and random aerial checks should be carried out to monitor movements.
